Amaeyzing Impact Award

Inner Sunset Community Advocates generous grant support over the years has helped our programs flourish and brought healing through art to even more children and families facing cancer. Thanks to their support, hundreds of children are provided with the materials and inspiration that enable them to create works of art during stressful medical tests, doctor visits, and infusion appointments. Inner Sunset Community Advocate’s commitment to our mission and the connections they have helped foster within the philanthropic community have truly made a difference.

With the guidance of their youth advisory board, Penny’s Flight Foundation discovered Kids & Art Foundation last fall. They recognized our common goals of encouraging joy and artistic expression in the face of profound health challenges and decided to support our Gift of ArtKits program. We are deeply grateful for their donation, which has enabled us to provide healing art experiences to pediatric patients nationwide. Thanks to their generosity, hundreds of children are provided with the materials and inspiration that enable them to create works of art during stressful medical tests, doctor visits, and infusion appointments. 

The CJ Berry family was Kids & Art’s first donor in 2008. The commitment of this first donation of $10,000 said a lot more than one can imagine. It said that a grassroots organization like ours that was born out of a personal crisis was important. Not only important, but it was also worth investing in. CJ Berry has continued their support, increasing each donation amount and in turn, their faith in our abilities to fulfill our mission.
