Lend a Hand, Make a Difference
Medical treatments may cure a child’s cancer, but those treatments can be painful and isolating. Kids & Art provides opportunities for creative experiences for these pediatric patients. A moment of joy through an art-filled distraction can make a difference and raise the child’s spirits, keep them moving forward, and impact their health in a positive way.
This year, our programs include:
- Artists-in-residence at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford and at George Mark Children’s House
- Destination workshops throughout the greater San Francisco Bay Area
- Custom art experiences for children facing trauma during treatment due to relapse, long
- hospitalization, or other serious circumstances.
- Amaeyzing ArtKits™ programs for use by pediatric patients at hospitals and at individual homes.
