Join Kids & Art Foundation for Chalk2Heal, a free, family-friendly community event celebrating the healing power of creativity during Childhood Cancer Awareness Month.
On Saturday, September 26, Sunset Dunes Park at Ocean Beach will become a vibrant outdoor canvas as children, families, artists, and community members come together to create colorful sidewalk art in support of children navigating pediatric cancer.
Whether you’re an experienced artist or simply love to create, everyone is welcome. Bring your imagination, invite family and friends, and join us in transforming the park into a celebration of art, community, and childhood resilience.

Why Chalk2Heal Matters

Each year, thousands of children are diagnosed with cancer, and many spend months—or even years—in treatment. During that time, creative expression can help ease stress and anxiety, foster resilience, and provide opportunities for connection and joy.
Through programs like Amaeyzing ArtKits™, Artist-in-Residence Programs, Destination Workshops, and Custom Art Experiences, Kids & Art brings meaningful arts experiences to children and families in hospitals and at home—always free of charge.
Chalk2Heal celebrates that mission while helping ensure more children have access to the healing power of creativity.
