Amaeyzing ArtKits @Care Centers
Portable Art Projects for
Children Aged 4 and Up
Amaeyzing ArtKits created by the Kids & Art Foundation are a collection of art projects designed to offer independent art experiences to pediatric patients as creative arts support during treatment. Each ArtKit contains all information and supplies needed to engage in the art project experience, as well as access to a pre-recorded instructional video.

Gift of ArtKits Program Grant
Each year the Kids & Art Foundation provides monthly deliveries of Amaeyzing ArtKits to a select number of Care Centers nationwide through our Gift of ArtKits program. To be considered, Care Centers must submit a program grant application.
- Amaeyzing ArtKits are for pediatric cancer patients, as well as children with other critical medical conditions.
- Gift of ArtKits award recipients may receive up to 30 ArtKits per month, free of charge.
- A portion of the ArtKits awarded to your Care Center can be provided for bone marrow transplant (BMT) patients.
- Care Centers will be notified about award status within 30 days of application submission.
- Gift of ArtKits awards are for the 2025 calendar year.
- As part of the program, Gift of ArtKits award recipients will be required to provide brief program feedback and a minimum of three program photos during program review cycles, typically after 6 months of participation.
- Should a Care Center need additional Amaeyzing ArtKits, those can be made available at a reduced facility rate.

Parent of a pediatric patient
My child loves art and your kits have really made her smile! She received the kit in the hospital.

Parent of a pediatric patient
Unfortunately we are in the hospital again but when Child Life walked in with one of your art kits it brightened our whole day! Here he is today getting ready to do another one of your projects. Thank you so much, the Child Life team truly loves your boxes and passes them out every time!

The ArtKits are providing opportunities for enjoyable activities while the kids are receiving chemotherapy infusions or blood transfusions and we are also encouraging kids and teens to focus on their assessment on how they are perceiving pain or discomfort both prior to and following their participation in the art activities. This is so empowering and promoting mastery over circumstances that can be seen as uncomfortable, painful, or difficult."
