Fine art photographer Nathalie Strand showed several young cancer patients how to make linocut prints at a waiting room workshop at Lucile Packard Children’s Hospital Stanford in 2019. She demonstrated how to use block cutters to carve out designs similar to those in her piece “Silver Sliver #1.”
